Un Petit Announce

At PB I like to show you all kinds of expositions...
And museum exhibits I've visited...
So I'm very pleased...
To announce I've beeninvited...
By the French Library & Cultural Center L'Alliance Francaise De Boston
To have an exhibit of my facade watercolors...
This coming November.
I hope you'll understand if I take a few days off posting now and then, while getting ready for the exhibit...
And please come visit the L'Alliance Francaise De Boston if you're in the area in November.
A BIG BONJOUR!!!

Bonjour Carol!

A huge congratulations on the exhibit invite! Hope it leads to media PR leading to sales and commissions!

Of course your adoring groupies will allow a few days with no postings as you prepare. Does this mean matting and framing? Mundane work.

Chère Carol, What memories L'Alliance Française has for me! I spent the summer of 1968 in it, shelving French books, to pay for the French lessons that my Grand'mère's friends gave me all summer. They wanted to help moi, the 'uncultured and uncivilized girl from the Indian Territory' who had an 'incomplete college education'.I enjoyed the Boston area, went on to teach French for 20 years, taking dozens & dozens of students to fall in love with the country of France, just I had done!
