Of course your adoring groupies will allow a few days with no postings as you prepare. Does this mean matting and framing? Mundane work. Stef in chilly but sunny Chicago

Chère Carol, What memories L'Alliance Française has for me! I spent the summer of 1968 in it, shelving French books, to pay for the French lessons that my Grand'mère's friends gave me all summer. They wanted to help moi, the 'uncultured and uncivilized girl from the Indian Territory' who had an 'incomplete college education'.I enjoyed the Boston area, went on to teach French for 20 years, taking dozens & dozens of students to fall in love with the country of France, just I had done!
This is so wonderful for you! I will miss your postings..give us a nibble now & then! Keep us posted as to the date..perhaps I can make a "diversion" from New York to Boston in November!
I see that you will be exhibiting at L'alliance Francaise here in Boston in November. How wonderful! What are the dates? I went on their website but they do not yet have a schedule for November. I would love to see the exhibit and perhaps get to meet you as well as live very close to Boston
I paint Paris dreams and mail 📮 them ❤️ wherever you are 🌎 Receive an illustrated letter 💌 every month from Paris, France 🇫🇷 Hi, I’m Carol Gillott, watercolorist ex-NYer living on Ile St-Louis in a 20 meter chambre de bonne sending out Illustrated letters monthly from Paris. A travel artist, travel blogger, writer, watercolorist, photographer, I share my personal travels experiences so you can travel vicariously through my sketches and words.
Describe what you love about France in 3 words. Can we make it 5 words? Eyes, ears, nose, tastebuds + brain. Paris stimulates all my senses constantly. I’m inspired all the time – endlessly surprised and amused. New York doesn’t do it for me anymore…
