The Doors, not Jim M.

As usual when it comes to creating the letter art, I did a complete U-turn last minute, when I found this old sketch of tiny 19th century figures with parasols…

Instead of painting your favorite French foods as promised, I fell into drawing PARIS DOORWAYS with little figures for the new letter.

Paris Lunch

And now for something different. On Monday I did Heavy duty research 🧐 on Paris lunch.

Did you know Parisian hot dog buns are the same as brioche in Paris? A big plus compared to New York watery buns 👍

Last day in Trouville-Sur-Mer

My last day, Friday, I woke up to a torrential downpour. I had to vacate of my hotel room by 11. I ran to Monoprix buy an umbrella ☂️

Naturellement, by 11 the rain stopped and the sun 🌞 came out. A last stroll on the boardwalk seemed a good idea.

Where is Brugnon?

Everyone knows August/Aout in Paris is very quiet/tranquille/basically dead. But seeing a guy lying down on the pavement on rue de Rivoli (in the Marais) chatting on the phone!? This is a first 🙄

Meanwhile my latest obsession/enthrallment is les pêche Brugnon nectarine.

Les Bouquinistes de Paris, Petition

In July, the prefecture of Paris announced it wanted to move, during the 2024 Olympics, the emblematic green boxes of the bouquinistes who have been on the banks of the Seine for more than 450 years

The reason? To ensure "safety"

Yesterday, Rain, the bus, Picasso - Paul Smith, Redon

Yesterday it rained like hell all night

And most of the morning. We had tons of rain all week. It’s raining right now…If it was the Olympics…uh oh 😱
