On Wednesday I went to the musee d’Orsay to look at the Degas paintings on the 5th floor.

It’s a mixup of race horses (this one is mine)

Friday I went to see the new WORTH fashion retrospective at the Petit Palais.

I was astonished by the contrast of modern dress and elaborate ballgowns of the 1880s.

Yesterday I thought I was headed to 🐎the races but I ended up at  DAVID HOCKNEY 25 at FONDATION LOUIS VUITTON. Go figure. Instead I hopped back on the bus, went 1 stop, & a nice walk through the woods.You can still get lost in Paris after 12 years.

Even the ticket is a keeper.

Yesterday I dashed out the door…late (at 2:30) hoping to catch the DOG & CAT SHOW at Porte de Versailles. Instead of entering the Metro, I ran to buy a snack at Franprix. 

Huge crowds, black limos, police, mayhem on Boulevard Henri IV?! 

I asked, ‘What’s up?’ 

‘La mode’ said someone trying to cross the street.

I went to the Louvre on Wednesday to gather more research for Elaine Sciolino’s new book map for ‘Adventures in The Louvre’.

And to see the new Couture exhibit.

Last day of the Salon. I’m posting this on site. Chickens 🐓 & cows 🐄 are clucking & mooing in the background. It’s a tape to put us in a farmy mood.

I planned to come yesterday…but I went to see the movie 🐈‍⬛ FLOW…instead. More to come.
