My Cups Runneth Over...

Tea at Cafe Luco Tea at cafe Luco, original watercolor

I forgot to say yesterday that my cup runneth over.
2006 has been a wonderful year for me, because you've stopped by Paris Breakfasts for a cuppa..

Les Deux Magots Hot Chocolate

A friend sent a kind email: I raise my teacup to you. Continued succes, cherie.
Angelina's Hot Chocolate

I have lots of ideas I want to get out of my head and onto paper.. And lots of cups to paint for you this year.
BIG MERCI everyone! :)

I really like the "Angelina" cup and pitcher image a lot. Nice the way you did such subtle washes but then the chocolat looks thick/oozy/yummy! Like the way you linked all the objects, moving you through the image. I was suprised that you made the writing and design as intricate as you did, but it works so well! This one is beautiful.

Your painted cups delight.
Your wit is bright.
I know you'd love to be
On an international flight.
But don't forget your blog fans,
When you drive off to Cannes!

You are a cup of delight!
These paintings are so very pretty! They look like you have painted them on glass! How do you get that reflective light look?

How on earth did you get that lettering so accurate?
Good Luck in 2007 hope it's as good as 2006.

The paintings are delicious in their pink tones!
I love the subtle hints of pink and blue, rose light, signs of sweetness and tender hope!
The way the colors blend softly in the teacup!
You do it well Carol!
Perfection in every stroke!
