Wonderful watercolour of the Angelina! I can just smell the chocolate and see the muraled ceiling.......
Lovely, lovely, lovely. I've never been there but plan to go in September. Care to join me? ;-)
Ah, I found myself making some very odd noises while reading this post. I must stop drooling. Poor me, I was eating a granola bar and M&Ms while reading this post. Didn't quite match up to Angelina. sigh.
i'd love some right about now! beautiful!
I am such and admirire of your beautiful painting and wonderful talent. This is darling, but then I say that about every one of your paintings that I see on here.
même avec cette chaleur je mangerai bien un mont blanc!!!

Scrumptious - your watercolors AND photos! Le comble du chic! (But no caveat about how the service can be a tad abusive?)
Beautiful Angelina painting!
Could that concoction with the whipped cream at the center be made of purée de marrons spaghetti?
I will see the pictures again with my daughter. She wants to study art therapy, and your blog is a source of ideas Inspiration..Manuela
Hmm, gorgeous. Looks so yummy. Do Parisians actually eat there? Or is it just for show? How do they stay so thin?
As a chef I should know... was that a mont blanc in reverse...Chestnut puree and cream?
I love chestnuts...
Wow, that looks soooo good!!
that little porcupine looking dessert looks heavenly. what is it?
i am curious.
lovely post as always.
Angelina, une véritable institution parisienne pour....les touristes! I never go there; there are too many people waiting in line! That frightens me!
Oh, isn't Angelina's wonderful? Even on a hot summer's day the hot chocolate is a must!
What is that squiggly, pale chocolat thing with a center?
Annie
Back in the day the mont blanc had the cream on top.. like a mountain.. I like this presentation much better...
As always, I really find your paintings charming.
I just wish though, that the pitcher were facing into the picture, rather than out.
Seulement une petite chose.
Qu'en pensez-vous?
Amusez-vous,
Janis
i am in paris now- & about to eat my first macaroon from laduree! just thought i should tell you bc afterall- you are ParisBreakfasts!!
Finally, we see eye to eye! "Non" on the Mont Blanc...though I do adore whipped cream...I think one must be French for chestnut to truly delight.
LOL--too funny. I also adore whipped cream--are you kidding? I could whip up a bowl and eat the whole thing plain! It's a sin. But what a way to go. I love that watercolor--the red and white are so fresh and lovely to me. Beautiful, Carol!
YUM and i love your paintings! x pam
I wish I could click my fingers and be sitting there right now. Fancy a little chocolate fix this morning.....xv
