I'll take my mit schlag this morning! Yummy...Chilly bones billy here this morning. Lovely to dream of Angelina's. That DOES look like a dutch still life. Stay warm.
love your watercolours...beautiful work. just purchased one today...and wanting another but alas the one i had my eye on is sold :) have a wonderful evening.
We love your web site - it is a happy interlude in our morning. Our breakfast doesn't always correspond to the sumptuousness of those shown, but that is because we are in training for guilt free enjoyment of the treats you depict.
We love Angelina's hot chocolate - you didn't have the cream on top - do next time. Also, you mention arriving before 10 am - yes for the breakfast Viennoiserie, however the wonderful Mont Blanc is usually not available until 11 am.
Thank you again, your work is enjoyed by our whole extended family in Melbourne and in Somerset, England.
It is 85 degrees here in L.A. so even Angelina's chocolate chaud sounds terrible. But, I do love that place. p.s. I have Lily video for you. Come on over.:-)
Ya know, you're watercolors and pictures of Angelina's are making me drool!! I really wish you would do a travel book on Paris featuring your beautiful watercolors and the decadent spots you treat us with!!! I'd surely love one! I would love to travel your footsteps!
Wanted to take my daughter there the other day. Had to give up when we saw the LOOOOONG queue outside - about 50 meters in the freezing cold !?! Another time ! Marie-Noƫlle
Bonjour ! I’m Carol Gillott, a former NYer living on Ćle Saint-Louis in a 21 meter chambre de bonne. Describe what you love about France in 3 words. Can we make it 5 words? Eyes, ears, nose, tastebuds + brain. Paris stimulates all my senses constantly. I’m inspired all the time – endlessly surprised and amused. New York doesn’t do it for me anymore…
I can just picture you there setting up still lifes while you sip. Lovely, Carol!!
