The framing of the scenes in trumeau style is wondeful.

  5. Great paintings! I like the one of Chateau d'Yquem the most.
I like the photo of those kids pouring the wine, too - a bit comical to me.

Finding Bordeaux chateaux for sale can be a difficult task without the proper connections. Networking through a real estate firm with many listings through the wine regions of France gives a client the best chance of landing a Bordeaux chateau at a respectable price.

    Your paintings are absolutely gorgeous.
I was wondering if your first step in the process of rendering a picture begins with a pencil outline or, from start to finish with brushes?

  11. The supply of chateaux for sale is limited as these classic homes and estates are no longer being built.

You did a terrific job of recording these!

I really do love Paris Breakfast! You enjoy so many of the same things I do (not hard to enjoy everything about Paris).
I just returned from a two-week trip spent mostly in Paris when I discovered you. I visited friends in Nuits-St.-Georges (near Dijon) and Besançon where we lived for five years. Our friends in Nuits led us to a lovely chocolate shop in Dijon--Fabrice Gillotte at 21 Rue du Bourg. They make chocolates called "Couleurs de Bourgogne" which are beautiful to look at, and even more beautiful to taste.

Just in case you should take the TGV to Dijon on your next trip to France (about 1 hour and 37 minutes), I think you would enjoy their shop!

Another great place in Burgundy is the Hostellerie de Levernois--lovely restaurant, as well as hotel. We ate in the bistro. The Chateau de Pommard was fun to visit, complete with art gallery. There's a wonderful restaurant at 13, place de la Liberation, Dijon called Le Pré aux Clercs with its brasserie at 9, place de la Libération, Brasserie B9. Sounds really touristy, but we had the most delicious Boeuf Bourguignon ever at the Brasserie.
