I'm lucky..this is what I am doing because I am officially on Summer holidays for 3 months! Although, I'm not as glamorous as her.. She reminds me of a purple Marie Antoinette
Have barely been in blogworld lately (being bogged down with work), but just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed your quirky and funny takes on Thanksgiving - l loved these posts! (And how badly do I want that sofa with the greyhounds - too chic for words). Today we celebrate with American friends in London; tomorrow I shall certainly identify with your pic here!
Bonjour ! I’m Carol Gillott, a former NYer living on ÃŽle Saint-Louis in a 21 meter chambre de bonne. As a Paris blogger, travel writer, watercolorist, and photographer, I share my latest escapades so you can walk around the city vicariously in my shoes. To experience even more of the Parisian life, sign up to receive my beautifully Illustrated monthly letters where I paint the Paris your dreams and mail them
to you wherever you are. You can order these letters, along with my art prints, at my Etsy shop.
Describe what you love about France in 3 words. Can we make it 5 words? Eyes, ears, nose, tastebuds + brain. Paris stimulates all my senses constantly. I’m inspired all the time – endlessly surprised and amused. New York doesn’t do it for me anymore…
Carol you made my day!! Yes, me too!! Of course I have my granddaughter Isabella here helping Mimi!!

ReplyDeleteThe bunnies!
ReplyDeleteAaaaaack! Must the rabbits recover, too???
ReplyDeleteThe Lavender lady looks a bit overcome to me. Is it the result of too much Turkey or too much perfume?
ReplyDeleteA psychiatrist would have a ball with that pic.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you had a great Thanksgiving!
I did just that.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'll promise to dress up a bit more, next year! :-)
aahhhhhh.. choo..Alergy City.:)))
ReplyDeleteJust kidding.. what a lovely picture of contentment.
Carol, I do like this photo and the imagery it sets free.
ReplyDeleteKeep meaning to ask you, when do you think that Lady Gaga will travel (with cameras along) to Paris?
Isn't it great to see the Christmas trees aligned along our NYC avenues even as the weather still does not require gloves?
xo
