Cup of Tea, original watercolor, 9" x 11"
Do you read your daily horoscope?
"Mental Undertakings will be your cup of tea."
How the H-- did Bernice Bede Osol know I was painting a teacup today?
How did she know my computer would do a meltdown and I would need a lot of mental undertakings on hand ?
I read the Metro everyday religiously so I'm not surprised really... I'm on an alien computer racing against the clock...ahem
I'll come back later and fix my spelling...
Please excuse :(
At PAUL in Paris they set up a tea time still life in the window like they know you're coming in to tea. Do they read the METRO horoscope in Paris? Are they psychic (sp)
I always tried to read my daily horoscope in the Paris version of the METRO...mostly it was regarding amourous encounters. Nothing so realistic as mental undertakings and a cup of tea.
Do you check your horoscope daily? Do tell.
BONNE JOURNEE
Hi Carol,
ReplyDeleteYes I do!
You will probably know that mercury is retrograde right now which explains the problems with your computer. This link takes you to the BEST site on the web for free in depth reading. Enjoy.

I have had my tea leaves read. But, I don't remember what they said. I do visit astro.com for a daily horoscope (I think they are the best daily site) and I also got to Susan's site atrologyzone.com. It is my favorite for monthly forecasts.
ReplyDeleteAll this talk of tea is making me think tea, it's early but you've inspired me to go make a pot!
ReplyDeletePainting above:
My all time fav!

No, I don't personally... although I get a kick out of the forecasts when I see them. I think my partner checks them every day:)
ReplyDeleteI can't say that have any interest in consulting my horoscope, but I am certainly lusting after that miniature silver teapot!
ReplyDeleteyes of course I do - only to forget about it the very next minute ;)
ReplyDeleteI adore your blog, have I already told you?
Ah ha..what about checking those tea leaves instead for your fortune..?
ReplyDeleteHave recently started checking daily horoscopes over the last couple of months.
ReplyDeleteAlways interested in the possiblity of an amourous encounter ;-)
Love the Daily Om
horoscopes.
Familiar with them?
Hi Carol,
ReplyDeleteI love this wonderful blog posting about tea and tea sets today. As you know, I'm passionate about tea although not so much about tea sets and tea cups. My taste runs to the contemporary, however, I do appreciate the much more classical sets I've seen around and on today's blog. However, I did order one of your Paris Breakfast mugs on Zazzle. I can hardly wait to get it and turn in my basic black mugs for your prettier one.

ReplyDeleteI do read them occassionally, but don't take it "seriously". I'd rather read your beautiful blogs! Your work is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLove the teapots here. especially the pink flowered one and the one with the bird on it.
ReplyDeleteGood ol' Metro lol.
ReplyDeleteIf you'll excuse me, I think I'm gonna make a cup of chai with vanilla soy. Cleanse is over and I'm slowly bringing the caffeine on!
You know, I never do remember to, but I enjoy seeing what they say. Lovely tea images here, Carol, to welcome me home. . .
ReplyDeleteMy first husband's mother was a Gypsy and I found out how all this stuff works. IT'S A CON! However I am horrified by the fact your computer has melted, whatever will you do :)
ReplyDeleteYes I do every day
ReplyDeleteor evening if I was running late.).
I don't care much for horoscopes but I do love Paul's window arrangements, and the way they present things in general. The servers are so cute with their old-fashioned cook hats too! My fav' lunch out is at Paul's of Hôtel de Ville, the City Hall. From upstairs, you get to glaze at Notre Dame.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had my daily cup of tea yet. Now I think it is full time......horoscope or not.
ReplyDeleteHoroscope? Who need a horoscope when there's "Paris Breakfasts"??? You know that, while I am known to hunt for coffee cups to photograph, I am a tea addict of the highest grade, so to speak. Oh my, and down there, a Mariage Freres tin box is loitering on the screen, no, you catured it, oh wow, where's my ticket to Paris?
