Will you be eating salade today?AND tomorrow? And perhaps all of January? Wouldn't it be nice if this month's salades could be Paris take-out from MIYOU?
No, I didn't start with salads but with an omelette with organic eggs from the new concept: Oh My Coque (ok, it can sounds weird in english). It was the training day today but it will officialy opened on friday! I hope you'll have a chance to try once you're back in Paris! Cakes are homemade ;-)
yes. many salads ahead for me, as it is lately uncomfortable to be in a sitting position in my jeans. And I am inspired by tall the beauties here. I like the pink grapefruit one and now see a reason to buy some quiona! xx julie
Your selection of salads in this latest post is so inspirational. I look forward to eating a more healthy diet of fresh greens this 2012!!! Thank you for the inspiration! Blessings in 2012! Mary
I eat a small side salad every day already, and some meals it's just one big salad, so yes--I'll be eating 'em. These all look great to me! I'm a huge veggies fan. The fruit looks good, too.
A Very Happy New Year's to you, Carol, and thanks for the beautiful card--it will be hanging here in my midst, trust me...xo
Yep, that's my January diet, too. Except the salads I get from Target and Walmart just aren't quite the same as Parisian salades. Sigh. Bonjour salades! (And perhaps just a little gateau on the side. And some of that leftover chocolate. And .....
Yes! Salads and even some "juicing," so on those rare occasions when the light hits me in a certain way, I'll actually look rather beautiful. Well, OK;, maybe just decent.
I would not mind one bit, eating myself through all those wonderful salads! Love how they are being served, in those see-through containers, tres chic.
I made a very good salad yesterday, with Belgian and with curly endive, radicchio, slices of pears.
Salads, starting tomorrow! Veggie ones, fruit ones, fruit with veggies, veggies with seafood, veggies with chicken, veggies with goat cheese, but not pasta ones, until Februrary! Happy Delicous Nutricious New Year!
Ugh, starting that tomorrow when I also start my workout routine - Zumba and shadow kick boxing. Need to get my pre-holiday figure back before graduation this June! You've offered some delicious diet options though!

Describe what you love about France in 3 words. Can we make it 5 words? Eyes, ears, nose, tastebuds + brain. Paris stimulates all my senses constantly. I’m inspired all the time – endlessly surprised and amused. New York doesn’t do it for me anymore…

At last, some decent eating proposals! :-)
Happy New Year dear friend!

If I was to be served salads like these, I wouldn't mind having JUST salad for the entire month! They are all absolutely gorgeous.

Nope. Today is still a holiday. Didn't you receive the memo? lol
I'll do French diet... Macarons, coffee, bread...
Not salad, please ;)

for me French salades aren't a diet
they're an aesthetic experience in layering

According to French Women Don't Get Fat they eat cabbage soup when the waistband becomes to snug. In the winter that appeals to me.
Love the Fauchon Pots:) How colorful and beautiful..all the salads.

And I had Arugela,
smoked salmon
roasted beets
mini turnips
with a sherry-honey vinegrette
yummers
Hmm Carol, could I? Would I? I should!!
Happy New Years to you and yours!

Carol, your salade photos and the prior commenters are inspiring me to compose some salades myself before the end of January.
Thank you for the inspiration.
(I continue to keep my metabolism running with all the exercise I get at the shop. Lots of territory to cover, and multiples of up and down stairs.)
Happy New Year!
I'm not much of a salad person, but these do look good!
I guess it must be the layering!
Att: Joyful
I never saw cabbage soup on the menu anywhere in Paris not once!
This cabbage soup thing is a fantasy and a bad one at that.
French women eat well all the time IMHO
je note toutes ces bonnes adresses pour un prochain sejour parisien! bonne année 2012!
i like the look of the one with the beans... yummo!
truly beautiful salads..there is something so right about the french concept of making food a celebration, something you sit down to do..!
