Bûche 🪵 de Noël and other things

Yesterday,  while running 🏃‍♂️ from the copyshop

To Poste 📮to the bank

I made a big study 🔍

Of the supplies Of BÛCHE DE NOËL

In my neighborhood.

Christmas logs are delicate, perishable creatures

Filled with meringue

Fragile chocolate mousse

Crème de Grand-Marnier

And fresh fruits

You must pick them at least the day before Revéillon dinner, even though you may have ordered it a week or a month in advance.
Fortunately there are mini versions
Or bûchettes for individuals
Who don’t want to eat a giant log 🪵 by themselves👏
or break the bank.
Some other Christmas dinner goodies
That look
Almost
Like desserts…almost 🦞
🎄 Have a SWEET Holiday dear PBers 🪵
I must quickly run to la Poste 📮 & la bank
A little sausage dog looking for crumbs outside AUX MERVEILLE DE FRED.

  2. I really enjoyed looking at all your fabulous pictures of the array of sweets and decadent edibles. They are pieces of art. Seeing some of the prices provides interest as well. All in one shop is amazing. Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you from Oregon . And thank you for all the joy you send to us with every post. some write to you and say you are “lucky” to have a life in Paris. I believe that luck is not the reason you are where you are: you made difficult choices, have made sacrifices, and worked hard to be where you are. And we know it is not always a perfect life but you have chosen to share your artistic talent and bring to others beautiful moments from a very special location. We thank you for that and send you only happy thoughts for a great 2026 in Paris.
