Christmas Chalets at Bon Marché

 

A few years ago I painted a Christmas Letter featuring LE BON MARCHÉ. 

This year’s theme at Bon Marché is Christmas marché chalets. 

‘A chalet is a type of building or house, typical of the Alpine region in Europe, made of wood, with a heavy, gently sloping roof and wide, well-supported eaves.’

Like the lite-up chalets you see along boulevard Saint Germain or Champs Elysées 

Selling pretzels 🥨 & 4€ roasted marrons.

I can assure you, Bon Marché chalets.

Multi-chalets hide the escalators

And add a cosy/chaleureuse 🪵 relaxed feeling

To the store,

With plenty of luxe,

Calme,

Et volupté.
