| NUT CRACKER BALLET |
For the Christmas season,
L’Intercontinental Hotel, 2 rue Scribe across from Opera Garnier.
Collaborates With Repetto ballerinas🩰 for this enchanting occasion.
Like THE RED SHOES and dance away.
Architect Charles Garnier in1870.
Sadly, this is not my cake. I was simply browsing comme d’habitude.
They have a delectable special Ballet tea (120€ for 2 people including Champagne 🥂 + ballerina 🩰 gâteau).
Then I walzed out…
Teddybears 🧸 are IN this season 🐻

Beautiful! I hope to take my ballerina granddaughter to experience this someday!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Carol. I love the Nutcracker ballet and have your wonderful Nutcracker ballet art print on display during this time of year. Going to the ballet tea at the L’Intercontinental Hotel would be so special. Thank you for all the lovely photos.-Suzanne P.
ReplyDeleteLovely, Simply Lovely!
ReplyDeleteThat cake is gorgeous! What a grand theme. Passing a Repetto shop always stops me in my tracks…those tutus! ❤️ Bears are always ‘in’, imho! 🧸
ReplyDeleteComplete enchantment!
ReplyDeleteSo incredibly beautiful! I would jump at having tea there! Thanks for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteThe tutu cake is faboulous, love the pink colour plus the shape. However, 70€ seems too pricey for tea!
ReplyDeleteTea at the fanciest hotel in Milwaukee Wisconsin is over $90US per person, so I thought the tea for two price sounded very reasonable for being in PARIS! And getting to see all of those delightful decorations from Repetto! And getting to eat a lovely tutu dress cake! What a delightful experience.
DeleteI have repeated Paris prices vs local prices in several local cafes here in Oregon. Ridiculous to think they can charge the same as Paris! Thanks for being with me. I lived in Waukesha for 9 years and we loved to attend the Milwaukie youth concert sponsored by M & I bank each Christmas with their magnificent collection of oversized STEIFF Bears and other animals! My parents would always come from the West Coast for several weeks from Thanksgiving to Valentines and, they, too, looked forward to the holdiday festivities. Carol, you and Bear would love it!
DeleteI am swooning over this post, Carol. Merci!
ReplyDeleteThat little cake is adorable but almost too cute to eat.
ReplyDeleteYour ballet themed posts are my absolute favorites! I already have your Palais Garnier watercolor and the ballet letter you did a while back. Time to do some more ballet paintings and another ballet letter? I think so!!!
