Bear plans to shop a bit in Paris on rue Vavin, these bear booties from Berlingot are on his to-buy list.
A bear hat from gawd knows where.

Hopefully this clown bear is still there...
French bear erasers are essential.
He's reading Bringing Up Bebe while I throw things at the suitcase. Bear has a sandbox interview with author Pamela Druckerman on his to-do list(!)
This means homework like eating 'formule' lunches.
Plus snacks/gouter only at 4:30 pm.
And 'adult time' with a marshmallow/guimauve nounours femme.

Bear sounds very self-sufficient. I'm sure he'll find lots to entertain himself. Love those little round watercolor stackable things--I have one of those. They're cheap paints, but I keep thinking I should empty those and put in my own paints from tubes!
ReplyDeleteThe problem with that brill idea Sue is the tube paints will dry and shrink since their a different formula than in the pans.
DeleteBut it's worth a try.
Love Bear's hot marshmallow date in Paris!
ReplyDeleteat last some L'Amour at PB!!

On my own to-do list will be getting ribbon to wrap gifts of a beautiful Paris postcard or two for friends.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll try BHV for the ribbon. Anyway, this should make for a lovely, low-cost present.
I want to visit Moustaches on rue des Archives to see if I can find any inexpensive pet gifts or small doggie signs. Hope you make it there. Your post some time ago made me curious about the place. I love to wander all over to look for unusual things which I will buy if cheap enough. I have my favorite haunts. One terrific shop with small bears wearing delightful clothes (matching child size outfits for their owners) disappeared last year. It wasn't far from the Cinema Christine in the 6e. I kicked myself for not buying one of those tiny bears!!
I'll arrive a week from today.
J'espere que tu t'amuse bien!! :)

Bonjour Carol. I just finished the Pamela Druckerman book. I was surprised at how good it was, professionally researched and well written. I hope Bear gets to meet her in Paris. If not, he can always find comfort in the company of a "nounours guimauve." They were my favorite candy when I was a child. Some things never change ;-) Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
ReplyDeleteWho knew? So much for a bear to do in Paris!
ReplyDeleteI hope that he can get into the French eating schedule like a proper bebe.
I love that clown bear.
Have a great trip!
Is it my imagination or does that big bear behind the clown bear look a lot like Ozzie?
ReplyDeleteBon Voyage!
Yoohoo, gouter in 2 minutes!
ReplyDeleteSee you later! ;-)
