YUMMY breakfast today... Candy for breakfast = Heaven Shhhhhh
I love Laduree! But this is the first time I've seen their Valentine's heart cakes! Tantalizing to the eyes and the stomach. Beatiful, colourful post. Thanks for the eye-candy.
yummy stuff as always. i am now looking forward to the shops in florence and beyond...will have to snap photos :) hmmm...what should i have on my birthday that would be decadent and oh so finger licking good...lol. have a wonderful day. erin
Lovely Carol! I'm still in love with my Ispahan and Emotion as the day I received them from you. I just went into the guest bedroom to take another look. LL
I was thinking of you this past weekend, when I found some lovely, lovely toile (robin's egg blue with beige figures) at a local Calico Corners. It was a discontinued pattern from Laura Ashley, and I bought the (only) 5 yards they had, but I have to buy more!
Hi, I’m Carol Gillott, watercolorist-ex-NYer living on Ile St-Louis in a 21 meter chambre de bonne, sending out Illustrated letters monthly from Paris. I’m a travel artist, travel blogger, writer, watercolorist, photographer, I share my personal experiences so you can travel vicariously through my sketches and words. I paint Paris dreams (jam jars, macarons, cups of hot chocolate, peonies) and mail 📮 them ❤️ wherever you are 🌎 Receive an illustrated letter 💌 every month from Paris, France 🇫🇷
Describe what you love about France in 3 words. Can we make it 5 words? Eyes, ears, nose, tastebuds + brain. Paris stimulates all my senses constantly. I’m inspired all the time – endlessly surprised and amused. New York doesn’t do it for me anymore…

Ispahan is one of my favorite cakes at Pierre Hermé. However, I'm not going to eat one on Saturday!

Painting the town red,
who would have thought but you. ;-)
(Weren't Mondays supposed to be blue???)
Rrrrrrred... choosing would be so hard. I just keep looking and looking. Oh now I have to go get a raspberry from the fridge.
Sigh, these are romantic chefs indeed. ;-)
I like the colos of your second acquarelle, I look at this like abstract painting.
You see, the pâtissiers would be very happy !

Yes! Instant gratification! Nothing like it! What do I have to say to have my comment removed?
Oh those French - they're so romantic.
