The Chicken Or The...

I saw loads of chocolate Parisen chickens everywhere.
These were at chocolatier Christian Constant's.

Chocolatier Gerard Mulot is a huge fan of the chocolate chicken...

Both roosters and hens were in residence.
Here's a hen clutching her chocolate egg!
Hens like chocolate too :)

More chickies from Gerard Mulot..
*Note the wild colorful bows tied around them...

These elegantly sculptured hens were nesting at Dalloyau's .

A very big papier mache hen in a Marais patisserie...
Is she the Mom to those other chickens all over town?

Fauchon had this big paper rooster in the window!
These are mostly pretty silly looking chickens you'll have to agree..?
They left their couture outfits at home...

The strangest chicken of all was this combo number at Jean-Paul Hevin's - called the "Poule n'Fish"
Not only is "it" carrying a box of chocolates eggs, but the interior is full of fritures/small chocolate fish!

Welcome Home. I bet you have TON'S of ideas swhirling thru your head you cant wait to get to. Can't wait to see everything in the coming days.

Love the Chickens. Especially the white sculpered hen at Dalloyau's and the paper mache hen in next photo. Love the white mixed with the chocolate in the Bunnies and the chickens. Amazing.

Congrats on the Zoom cover. Very nice indeed. ;-)

    Happy Easter!

  4. I WANT that Fauchon Chicken.

  5. Constance I'm happy to "share" my chickens anytime :)
    Just ask.

Di you can have that Fauchon chicken anytime..just say the word and I'll send him over. He eats too much anyway :)

Cris I do have tons of ideas in my head, if my head would just stop hitting the pillow at 6 PM and waking up ready to go at 1 AM :(

  6. I've got to remember to go to Paris before Easter some year.

Love hearing from you
