Bizarre? Well part of the definition of that word is extravagant and they are certainly that. I wish I could afford the coffee table book on the history of Bergdorf windows. They always display the MOST imaginative and lush eye candy to be found anywhere.
This morning I dropped friends off at the train station, to spend 3 daaaaze seeing shows, museums,& those wonderfully creative window displays, in New Yaaaawk City. I'm envious; but thanks as usual, Carol, for your first-hand second- hand visit, via PB.
I paint Paris dreams and mail 📮 them ❤️ wherever you are 🌎 Receive an illustrated letter 💌 every month from Paris, France 🇫🇷 Hi, I’m Carol Gillott, watercolorist ex-NYer living on Ile St-Louis in a 20 meter chambre de bonne sending out Illustrated letters monthly from Paris. A travel artist, travel blogger, writer, watercolorist, photographer, I share my personal travels experiences so you can travel vicariously through my sketches and words.
Describe what you love about France in 3 words. Can we make it 5 words? Eyes, ears, nose, tastebuds + brain. Paris stimulates all my senses constantly. I’m inspired all the time – endlessly surprised and amused. New York doesn’t do it for me anymore…

Shall I chalk it up to dissonance after not having been in the states all year? Or are Bergdorf's holiday windows un peu bizarre??

That was fun! What great windows--they look like they had fun creating that, don't they!
Such amazing work! LOVED the video and the ability to click on each photo for an enlargement! The framing alone is stunning...

I'm a big fan of Bergdorf's windows! Amazing!
I always thought mice make good coachmen, but it looks like I need to switch to monkeys.
Very beautiful and creative works -it reminds me of something that Terry Gilliam might do!
Oh Bill!
Mice went out long ago with Cinderella
