Beau jour, Carol ! J'aime la tasse et la soucoupe rayées vertes sur la table rayée verte et bleue avec la lumière du soleil de matin ou de soirée. Je peux voir ceci dans une future aquarelle… David
I just discovered your blog and je l'adore! I too am obsessed with all things French. I teach the language in order to support my habit. I used the tartes au citron post with my 8th grade classes. They loved it, bien sûr, especially the girls.
I can see you navigating in your striped ballerinas - driving a striped Smartmobil for longer distances - taking striped pictures and never complain at all. I am in awe. Stripedly so. :-)
This is so weird - the day I got this I had only moments before been standing outside that very same Petite Bateau window admiring the same baby outfit. Petite Bateau is next door to our rental apartment. Enjoy the rest of your stay in Paris!!! Jayme
I paint Paris dreams and mail 📮 them ❤️ wherever you are 🌎 Receive an illustrated letter 💌 every month from Paris, France 🇫🇷 Hi, I’m Carol Gillott, watercolorist ex-NYer living on Ile St-Louis in a 20 meter chambre de bonne sending out Illustrated letters monthly from Paris. A travel artist, travel blogger, writer, watercolorist, photographer, I share my personal travels experiences so you can travel vicariously through my sketches and words.
Describe what you love about France in 3 words. Can we make it 5 words? Eyes, ears, nose, tastebuds + brain. Paris stimulates all my senses constantly. I’m inspired all the time – endlessly surprised and amused. New York doesn’t do it for me anymore…

I just love to get your blog every day in my mail, it is such a happy blog and so personal. Grate job, thank you.
Nice to see some photos of Paris...you do a fabulous job to put all that together!
Merci...the only problem is that I am now home sick :( Bon Mardi!
Your themes are great. No need to buy Vogue anymore, just read Paris Breakfast.
I confess to having a thing for stripes.
How's the weather? Looks like you're getting loads of sunshine. I looked at the extended forcast for next week (my week) in Paris: rain :(

Wonderful variety of striped things. I love the tiramasu! And the ballerinas, they're gorgeous. I can taste Paris!
Great collection! I love the car :)
Oh those cute little shoes avec les bandes!
The weather in Paris?
Highly unpredictable...there has been a lot of rain and only recently some sun is stepping in..
Who doesn't love Repettos?
Even if you don't have any...
Les stripes, c’est moi!
How’s the weather?
We leave Sunday and I am counting the minutes.
Stripes--they're always fun. Great photos of 'em all here. Love the dog stripey outfits. Too funny.
