Beau jour, Carol ! J'aime la tasse et la soucoupe rayées vertes sur la table rayée verte et bleue avec la lumière du soleil de matin ou de soirée. Je peux voir ceci dans une future aquarelle… David
I just discovered your blog and je l'adore! I too am obsessed with all things French. I teach the language in order to support my habit. I used the tartes au citron post with my 8th grade classes. They loved it, bien sûr, especially the girls.
I can see you navigating in your striped ballerinas - driving a striped Smartmobil for longer distances - taking striped pictures and never complain at all. I am in awe. Stripedly so. :-)
This is so weird - the day I got this I had only moments before been standing outside that very same Petite Bateau window admiring the same baby outfit. Petite Bateau is next door to our rental apartment. Enjoy the rest of your stay in Paris!!! Jayme
Bonjour ! I’m Carol Gillott, a former NYer living on Île Saint-Louis in a 21 meter chambre de bonne. As a Paris blogger, travel writer, watercolorist, and photographer, I share my latest escapades so you can walk around the city vicariously in my shoes. To experience even more of the Parisian life, sign up to receive my beautifully Illustrated monthly letters where I paint the Paris your dreams and mail them
to you wherever you are. You can order these letters, along with my art prints, at my Etsy shop.
Describe what you love about France in 3 words. Can we make it 5 words? Eyes, ears, nose, tastebuds + brain. Paris stimulates all my senses constantly. I’m inspired all the time – endlessly surprised and amused. New York doesn’t do it for me anymore…
I just love to get your blog every day in my mail, it is such a happy blog and so personal. Grate job, thank you.
ReplyDeleteNice to see some photos of Paris...you do a fabulous job to put all that together!
ReplyDeleteMerci...the only problem is that I am now home sick :( Bon Mardi!
Your themes are great. No need to buy Vogue anymore, just read Paris Breakfast.
