On Tuesday night I finally got to see Department store Printemps bird-filled windows
Beautifully detailed and whimsical, wise owls in this case. And so many envelopes ๐! Very relatable for me ๐ฎ
All designed by paper artist, extraordinaire, Mathilde Nivet.
Printemps has a small exhibit exploring the window’s inspirations & preparatory models/maquettes made by Nivet.
A chance to get up close to the birds ๐ฆ like this classic Paris pigeon. Every feather ๐ชถ is carefully cut ✂️
What a beautiful & thoughtful collaboration between Printemps and artist Mathilde Nivet. Perhaps the best I’ve seen this year.
Last night I got to hand-deliver some Paris letters ๐
Angelina Bear party is waiting for you in my Etsy shop along with other goodies.
☕️ Or buy me a KO-FI ☕️
Love the windows, love the card, love, love, love! ๐ผ❤️❤️❤️

It brings delight to the mind and makes one feel hopeful for the future. Also, the level of commitment from Le Printemps staff is impressive. I’d love to know how long it took Ms. Nivet to carry this project out. Just incredible! Thanks for highlighting this so we can all share.
