Bear 🐻 Story

Joyeuses Fêtes from Paris 🥐

Whether you celebrate or not, I'm sending good wishes to all.

Last Saturday I went on a bear 🐻 hunt.

Paris loves Bears, especially in Christmas windows like Lindt chocolate

I looked
in Galerie Lafayette Gourmand & found a hibernating bear cub/bûche de Noël from l’Eclair de Genie

BEAR 🐻 naturally came along as consultant.

Naturally we ended up at The Ritz, Place  Vendôme, famous for their teddies 🧸 Did I say it was a glorious day?

The Ritz chalet offers a plethora of Bears 🐻 in all sizes

An influencer was trying desperately to make up her mind on a Ritz bear 🧸keychain (29€)

I asked security at the door, “Where is the big Ritz Bear?” I thought it would be perfect for the new Paris Letter.

“Oh that was last year. This year we have the carrousel!“ Hmm…☹️

I told him I was going to the gift 🎁 shop. That line will always get you in the door 🚪

The Ritz annual Christmas tree is consistently divine. Designed by their flower specialist, Anne  Vitchen, who also created the Opera tree 🎄

My dear friend Alison used to tell me she would often relax a bit in New York’s grand hotels, so I did Too.

A quick stroll in the Ritz’s private inner court is a must. Serenity now

We headed back out to realité. Sadly, we have not figured out how to waft through Cartier’s portals, also at Place Vendôme.

Back to the drawing board ✏️

It’s been bears, bears, bears all week

Youtube got wind & sent me this bears peddling advert. Do you think the French are more bearish than the rest of us?

Tra-La! The Ritz Bear 🐻 is going into the post 📮 today 🤸‍♂️
It’s time to dream of bears & Christmas stockings.

That hibernating bear cub/bûche de Noël is the cutest thing ever! Next to your Ritz bear letter of course! Probably costs a small fortune too. Hard to imagine cutting into it bear.. Ginny

Yes! WHERE IS the giant Ritz teddy?? Place Vendôme is just NOT as festive without him. That hibernating bear bûche de Noël could make me forget all about the Ritz bear…adorable!

Your Bear New Years Letter is wonderful. Love the other bears looking In on him! ❤️🧸

Loved this post, but then I'm partial to bears. I have the small Ritz bear sitting in a small Luxembourg Garden chair. Joyeux Noel to you and Bear,Carol. Hope it's peaceful, happy and continues into 2024.
