If you're in Paris don't miss the spectacular L'Art du Jardin at the Grand Palais until 3 June. Words can not describe the beauty or creativity. C'est comme ca. |
Ahhh, garden therapy. I love the rhododendron, well, actually I love it all.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! All in that giant conservatory?
ReplyDeleteLove the gilded cloches!
What's a gilded cloches?
DeleteThe last picture - I believe a cloche is the metal cone that covers a plate when it's served to keep the food hot (and make a more dramatic presentation).
DeleteAt this time of year..I walk my humble gardens many times a day:) THRILLING to see it all and I snap away hoping to caprture the beauty of even the most subtle of blooms or greens..
ReplyDeleteThat picnik scene with the flowers spilling out..C'est beau!!
My peonies have so many buds..:)
Now that is something I would LOVE to visit.
Do you see wicker trolleys on your walkabouts Carol?

DeleteLooks beautiful! Some really amazing shots in there, Carol.
ReplyDeleteOh no I'm missing it in rainy Bordeaux! Butt you captured some great shots, love love.
ReplyDeleteWe went to this yesterday and it was indeed lovely. I particularly liked that you got in for free if you had a "flower" first name (for a girl) or, for a boy, if your name was Olivier.
ReplyDeleteOh I had no idea!
DeleteI went back yesterday to see it with all the people. Still very amazing experience! Unique.
Oh, lovely! I like Gala apples, and smeared with peanut butter. But these are beautiful images--peonies--my favorites...sigh. Just got back from the beach to see your posts, Carol!
