ReplyDeleteWINGS is streaming now in NYC...but they do rotate as I understand it.

Love the immediacy of these lush little Gondola water colors, Carol. They capture the essence, like Venetian Haiku poems.
ReplyDeleteCarol,
ReplyDeleteI have loved Wings of the Dove since I first saw it on the big screen many, many years ago. I think there are some of the most beautiful "blues" in that movie, in mosaics, walls and gowns that I have ever seen, eclipsed only by Venice herself. It's a beautiful film and the soundtrack is magnificent and unforgettable. Thanks for reminding me with your beautiful watercolors. I'm glad I own Wings.......
Deborah
Beautiful watercolours!! I especially like the Blue Dusk.
ReplyDeleteSigh. Now I want to go to Paris AND Venice!!
(Totally irrelevant comment: I just got "bozoness" as my word verification. Interesting word, eh?!)
Carol, Your Venice watercolors are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI am off to rent this movie, thank you x
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful. I especially love "Purple Moon."
ReplyDeleteThe clothes were magnificent..It 's funny.. went 3 yrs ago..it looked the same:) We stayed outside of Venice..would have loved to stay in a palazzo such as Millie's..Just for once..
ReplyDeleteNot necessary..but it would have been memorable..
Sad ending:(
Hope I am not spoiling it..
I love the way they caprured Venice at night..and in the rain also..Thank you for recommending it.
