Angoulême Comics Festival, 52nd edition

 I took the TGV crack of dawn 🕕 to Angoulême on Thursday morning to my first Festival de Bande Dessinée!

But first things first. In town I headed to the best chocolate shop (from 1897) Chocolatier Duceau.

This past weekend I went to the Fête de la coquille Saint-Jacques à Montmartre , always held next to Metro Abbesses.

Two days in a row! An absolute first time for me.

Smelling Paris

So I went to the Pearl exhibit at L'École des Arts Joailliers.

Sunday I went back to the DOLCE & GABBANA exhibit early, 10:00 🕙 The French are still sleeping 😴 The line was short.

I wanted to see their Gift 🎁 Shop

Yesterday I had the best chicken sandwich 🥪 ever.

Completely out of the blue and in the pouring rain 🌧️

The 1st Saturday of the new year Solli & I meet up for LA GALETTE DES CHEFS.to taste the Galette des rois. 

I admit I go for the oyster 🦪 yum yum

Bright, Shiny Things

Yesterday I was moaning to Bonnie, “It’s raining 🌂 out and I have to go to the Copy Shop, La Poste and the bank 🤷‍♀️

Same ole, same ole”. 

But it wasn’t. On the way to la Poste I ended up at The Red Cross thrift shop…it was open for once ! 🤸‍♂️
