I've been seeing "walking Parisiens"...
Everywhere I go...
Even Paris moms do it. *Please note it's a straight-legged gait...
Could this be the clue to Why French Women Don't Get Fat? And not because they eat leek soup 6X a week..?
OK, toes together, get ready...
And stride PB readers!

*Note even while leche-vitrine in pastry shop windows, Parisiens do the stride stance...
Men do it while snacking in the street...
And while standing still.
Isn't there a marked resemblance to this Paris monument?

HA!HA! Carol, you are beginning to see Paris through my eyes. I have been enjoying your visit, even though I live here.
ReplyDeletecharming...makes me want to get my city walk on. I live in Sacramento, where I'm part farmer, but when I'm in San Francisco I walk with way more edge.

My favorite walking man is the Giacometti sketch for one of his scupltures. Same stride! I had it hanging on my dorm room wall--lo these many years ago.

I love reading your Paris breakfasts and I do admire your devotion to your blog. I've been to Paris myself and love it so much, however I certainly didn't become a part of it as you have.
