Le Village International de la Gastronomie - Tour Eiffel

Just for a lark…

No larks
To be seen,
But everything else under the sun 🌞
 Entry tickets 🎟️ are 5€
To eat
And drink.
 SANGRIA!
Fresh coconut 🥥 water. Yum
From 55 countries, some I barely heard of.
There was a similar mini international gastronomie village at Bastille during Xmas. I went with Julia, who is in Tahiti at the moment.
Julia, you missed the Tahiti tent!
A fancy chef hunkering down on his break, looking for new flavors peut-être ?
There was of course music with drums 🪘 an essential.
Fabulous regional costumes.
Eating tables down the center aisle for instant picnics 🧺
Divine Persian jam - mirabelle with saffron from Maison Boteh.
What is a LAOS Hot dog 🌭 ? Have you tried?
Bottarga is a codfish roe delicacy I once had to bring back to someone…I still haven’t tried it.
Madagascar vanilla chocolate 🍫 tasting 👍
I have been looking for these crunchy, thin mystery Italian crackers for YEARS, but you could only buy olive 🫒 oil 🤷🏻‍♀️
A fun relaxing visit if you’re in Paris this weekend.
I found my fav roasted corn by the bridge to the Eiffel Tower 🤸‍♂️
I’m Carol Gillott, an artist living in Paris. Every month I send out beautifully illustrated letters 💌 from ETSY that capture the true Parisian experience.

Love those Italian crackers and had forgotten about them! Maybe I’ll remember to look for them in Italy tomorrow.
