Fête de la coquille Saint-Jacques à Montmartre 2025

This past weekend I went to the Fête de la coquille Saint-Jacques à Montmartre , always held next to Metro Abbesses.

Two days in a row! An absolute first time for me.
Rosemary decided to celebrate 🎉 her birthday 🎂 at the fête 🥳 on Saturday. What a good idea!
They have a nice little park right there, where you can sit down, eat your oysters 🦪
Or scallops
Drink champagne 🥂 🍾 What a nice Champagne it was too.
What if you’re not mad about oysters 🦪 ?
Or Escargot 🐌
Or even seafood 🦞!?
This is a BRITTANY fair, so lots of goodies like cookies,
Kouign Amann, Canelé, crêpes, chocolate.
You can sign on for a balade boat 🚤 trip in Brittany
I will never forget the balade I once took in Étretat…Yikes 😰
I am a big fan of Brittany hot, spiced apple 🍎 juice. Yum Yum
Solli & I always go on Sunday and Julia joined us (her first time).
I know…my hair looks white. Yes, I washed it with dish washing liquid & stripped it 😵‍💫 😱 🤣
After we stuffed ourselves, Julia gave us mini tour of l'église Saint-Pierre de Montmartre, a modern Arte Nouveau church built between 1894-1904.
Later I past the Brittany band on rue Lepic heading to the fête. The drizzle started.
And right past by Amélie’s cafe.
I hope if you're ever in Paris end of January, you will join us for oysters 🦪 or whatever ❤️

I didn’t know that dish soap strips hair. Good god. It’s stronger than I have had any idea. Lynne

That fete looks like heaven with all the seafood etc.- I would love everything but the cold and rain. Sorry about your hair but I do like it white.

  8. This looks like a fun winter day out! I’d have the champagne but would skip the seafood and have the other tasty things.
I hope your hair recovers okay!
