I am ever obsessed with these tall stacks of macarons and so fun to paint! I am soooo tempted to invest in one of thesestrictly for research of course. I love this logo for the French Bakery association...I love the way you see these all over Paris decorating whatever like Xmas trees - here at Le Valentin...At the chateau...
Lenotre has made their piece montee into a twirly tall tower...
Saduharu Aoki's real tree of macarons at last year's Salon du Chocolat...
Wouldn't it be fun if these were giant macarons climbing up the sides of the Eiffel Tower and it was for REAL...say for Macaron Day in Paris?
Ummmm. I'm going back to Paris in October, and you've alerted me to all the different places to enjoy macarons -- visually as well as gastronomically. There's a limit to how many macarons I can eat...but now I'm looking forward to just viewing them.
Just got back from the trip to France. Toulouse for an art class, Provance and finished up for three days in Paris before flying home. Saw these little trees and am enjoying your site even more after the trip - keep up the good work - really look forward to it. Linda
Oh I remember these well from childhood days in rural France...actually, I had no idea what macarons were at the time, since my French family did not subscribe to their pleasures (my grandmother had her own repertoire of desserts) so this is the only way I ever noticed them. I assumed they ALL grew on trees!
Coming back in October... Is there any place where they sell macarons that you have not visited? There may be a few! You have created a macaron fashion!
Hi, I am opening a macaron shop soon. Have been reading your blog for a while, very interested in your drawings of Paris, bring a lot of memories of life in Paris...
Do you sell those drawings? Would be great to have them in my shop :-)

I paint Paris dreams and mail 📮 them ❤️ wherever you are 🌎 Receive an illustrated letter 💌 every month from Paris, France 🇫🇷 Hi, I’m Carol Gillott, watercolorist ex-NYer living on Ile St-Louis in a 20 meter chambre de bonne sending out Illustrated letters monthly from Paris. A travel artist, travel blogger, writer, watercolorist, photographer, I share my personal travels experiences so you can travel vicariously through my sketches and words.
Describe what you love about France in 3 words. Can we make it 5 words? Eyes, ears, nose, tastebuds + brain. Paris stimulates all my senses constantly. I’m inspired all the time – endlessly surprised and amused. New York doesn’t do it for me anymore…

The Eiffel Tower covered with macarons, eh? That would be something to see, bien sur. Charming, as always, m'lle.

I love these towers- they are so chic and would make such a great alternative to the standard Xmas decorations! Thank you again for such eye candy xo
If I could find some wax ones I would love to make a tower for Ghost Furniture. What do you think? :)
I think that is the first time that I've seen the pyramid arrangement of macarons - very cute idea!
Looks delicious..and fun to make..maybe I could "try" to make one with my kids ;)

Are they actually allowed to sell that champagne in a bakery - no liquor license?
