I've got a Paris assignment. And it does NOT entail taking off for Paris.
Immediately! Dommage :(Instead I am to run all over New York...And shoot all the windows and that's what I've been doing the past three nights. It's kind of fun too. Especially since I keep bumping into New York dogs. These pups don't mess around. They take up a lot of space.
We like things BIG in New York, or LaGrosse Pomme as the Frenchies call it.
Suburbanites complain of bears rampaging in their backyards. New York bears wait for the light to change.
Some New Yorkers get to go to Paris - lucky pups! I guess you could say we New Yorkers put our dogs up on pedestals. Well who doesn't?
As a fellow arteest, I must smile and agree with Rick. If that big doggie in front of the shop stood in his hind legs, he wouldn't be able to get through the door! But I do love the idea, and the art, as only you can do. Bill
I love the sculpted shrubs--aren't they fabulous!? I want those at our front door. Can you please send them to me, Carol? I know only you could talk them into it...
Rofl! NY bears wait for the lights!!! do you think all those NY dogs result from your Paris posts - you know, all those New Yorkers wanting to be as chic as you-know-who?
Maxie would be so happy, all those good looking friends for him to meet!
I am slowly disappearing behind all the CDs I'm burning to archive what's left of my 2009 pictures. Burning them twice and an external hard drive copy: I have become super aprehensive after 2 external drives crashed. ;-)
Bonjour ! I’m Carol Gillott, a former NYer living on Île Saint-Louis in a 21 meter chambre de bonne. Describe what you love about France in 3 words. Can we make it 5 words? Eyes, ears, nose, tastebuds + brain. Paris stimulates all my senses constantly. I’m inspired all the time – endlessly surprised and amused. New York doesn’t do it for me anymore…
It does seem as if New York is going to the dogs!
