I could see all the goodies I’d missed - fresh strawberries 🍓 and towering whipped cream flashing by…
I read the decor was by Hubert de Givenchy, nephew of the designer, Monsieur de Givenchy. The Carette tea salons have an Art Deco-inspired atmosphere. Pink marble guss, chandeliers and columns, golden moldings and the large mirrors lend a 30’s spirit.
Even if decor is Art Déco.
