For once, the lucky owner finds her own picture! :-)
I love it too, but I have not been to Paris, it reminds me of late winter, when the sun already comes on strong to make one feel as if spring can only be around the corner.
Wow!! Just found your blog and I think I'm going to love it. J'adore your watercolours aussi. I'm about to live in Paris for a year or so...take some art workshops and generally live the Parisian life. A bientot.
I paint Paris dreams and mail 📮 them ❤️ wherever you are 🌎 Receive an illustrated letter 💌 every month from Paris, France 🇫🇷 Hi, I’m Carol Gillott, watercolorist ex-NYer living on Ile St-Louis in a 20 meter chambre de bonne sending out Illustrated letters monthly from Paris. A travel artist, travel blogger, writer, watercolorist, photographer, I share my personal travels experiences so you can travel vicariously through my sketches and words.
Describe what you love about France in 3 words. Can we make it 5 words? Eyes, ears, nose, tastebuds + brain. Paris stimulates all my senses constantly. I’m inspired all the time – endlessly surprised and amused. New York doesn’t do it for me anymore…

The long shadows remind me of Winter, too.
The dog, and tricycle on a city sidewalk I think may be more Parisian....

Haha so cute!! Loving the blog!
Carol, this is a lovely photo, with its light, long shadows, and that wonderful combination of French pedestrians (some with more than two feet.)
I sense that there might be an air of mystery or intrigue about your having found this photo.
I hope that your detective work will result in some happy resolution.
xo
