Tiffanys Little Blue Box

Tiffanys Little Blue Box,watercolor on Etsy, sold 5.5" x 7.5
Yesterday Di Overton said....I love Tiffany's windows anytime of the year.
Tiffany only has 4 small Xmas windows...
Inside is very grand and huge, but no pictures are allowed, so back outside...
The window on the corner of 57th street and 5th avenue has a giant peacock guarding a silver what..keg? Qui sait:)
Around on 57th street this golden casket to house your diamonds..?
Whilst a paper chandelier tries to out shine a crystal chandelier...
Enfin! The little blue box we all love to covet...
This icy goddess is keeping watch...
Well two icy goddesses keep watch...
Over this icy version of the little blue box...
A real blue box sporting a tiny charm bracelet...
Bye bye Tiffanys.
I bet this very minute they're already planning next years windows!
BON MARDI!

  1. Lovely window displays. I will always picture Holly Golightly standing there gazing in.... but you are 'Holly' with a camera. :))

Thank you so much for all the work you put into sending your daily PB posts. I love the Christmas ones especially the decorations in the stores in NYC. My dream is to go to NYC at Christmas but until I win a big lottery, it will not be possible, so in the meantime, I am enjoying it through your beautiful pictures
When I was turning 21, I was supposed to go to NYC to celebrate my birthday with some friends from my church, but at the last minute, I didn't get to go. I was so disappointed especially after I heard the ladies got to stay at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel as guests of one of the ladies's husband and he treated them to "Hello Dolly".
I am now 64 and still dream of visiting NYC.
Thank you again for all you do.
    God Bless
    Patty

    Season's Greetings
I am a subscriber to your blog and I love, love love it!
I thought I would forward this to you. It's for Miss Dior Cherie and in the commercial there are sumptious shots of your beloved macarons! It reminded me of your blog.
Note the dress the young lady is wearing...sigh...
Directed by Sofia Coppola of macaronfest Marie Antoinette.
