Yesterday I went to Sévres-Babylon…

MAISON DE CHOCOLAT
Yesterday I took bus 63 to Sévres-Babylon, looking for some Saturday eye 👁️ candy 🍭

Last week we received tons of snow ⛄️ were buffeted by 22 mph winds 💨 hit with plenty of rain 🌧️

Yesterday was simply overcast - Paris grey skies.

First stop - Chocolatier PATRICK ROGER.

Chocolate 🍫 is always cheering even if you just inhale…

Next MAISON DU CHOCOLAT…just looking

I past Hotel Lutetia

And thought briefly of peeking inside…

But instead went to see

Hermès Christmas 🎄 windows next door

Inside was traditional Christmas 🎅

What Hermès did last year 🎄
Comparative analysis is part of my job 🔍
Which do you prefer?

Hermès perfumes are color co-ordinated.

Meanwhile inside BON MARCHÉ

The Winter Sales have begun.

Tremendous bargains starting at 69€

*The HOT look for Spring from Dior.

Absolutely essential. ‘Little French school girl’ 👧🏼

Meanwhile at BON MARCHÉ, l’artiste of the month is SOOG DONG

He hung massive bottle drying sculptures from the ceiling, known as égouttoir à bouteilles Herrison.
Oh la di da…

Desperately thirsty 🤪 by this is time, I was hoping MEERT would still be across the street,

For a cup ☕️ of hot chocolate like last week.

Too late. This week is tourtes 🥧

From GROOT. 😕

You can cross from Bon Marché to GRANDE EPICERIE via their ART DÉCO passage way on the 3rd floor.

Inside they were

Celebrating a BISTRO theme.

At last! Free samples of delicious non-alcoholic Pinot Noir and Chardonnay
from ALAIN MILLIAT.
🍷
Finally, heading out, I spotted 2 RED RIDDING HOODS
Look 👁️ a lady trying to read the tea labels on the bottom shelf.
❤️ Life in Paris ❤️

Talk about eye candy…your entire post…every photo is eye candy! Chocolate, pastries, perfumes, purses, pretty outfits! Sigh! Love the ‘Bistro’ bag. The bottle drying racks are aptly names herissons/hedgehogs. Don’t know how decorative they are though! Thank you, Carol for brightening up our dreary winter days! ❤️

Red&Green for Christmas beats out Black&White for me all the time! Nowdays (closer to 80 than 70) trying to read the labels on the lowest shelves is impossible unless I get down on my hands & knees (which I don't do out in public!). Thanks for catching the Red R Hoods! They will catch one's eye - won't they! Thanks for taking us gift shopping with you for the after Christmas Soldes!!! Mary in Oregon
