The Blues...

China Export blue,watercolor on Etsy, sold 5.5" x 7.5"
Have you got the blues?

Blue Tabletop,watercolor on Etsy, sold 5.5" x 7.5"

Me too. Course you know we're not alone on this. But is that gonna help much?

Like I said yesterday, when things get tough it's time to escape. Wouldn't it be divine to jump into the Chateau de Vaux le Vicomte's gift shop and immerse ourselves in all this china?

Or to pop into Cuisinophile in the Marais and browse some blue kitchen ware?
Dear Barbara Blue's notebook...boy could I write some blue notes in there.... Taking petit dejeuner at Corinnes heads to the top of the list... Bergdorf's Blue china windows...yum yum yum Looking out Corinne's window at Paris blue roofs! Oui bien sur! I'm escaping to the serene Morandi exhibit at the Met. This may be the only bit of blue in the whole exhibit, but I intend to seek it out PDQ! BONNE JOURNEE!

  1. Sigh... I love that view of the blue rooftop... enjoy the Morandi....I will be using mostly black and white today...some warms to balance them as well. Lovely blues...

  2. Oh these are the blues to have. :)
I too love that view from Corrine's Window. Wonderful view.
I want the blues too. :)

  6. Bien sûr, your Blue tabletop watercolour is one of my favourites so far. Your use of these darker backgrounds is improving each day...

  8. Oh Rick!
    You're on to me.
I never should have revealed that I paint to candlelight...
I saw this in the window at Gracious Homes.
Hey my first tabletop with no macarons present!
This is a major breakthrough...of sorts
    Give a girl a break.

  9. I love that lamp and the nice bottles and frame and Oriental vase and flowers...arranged so beautifully there. Nice departure, Mlle! I always love blues...that Morandi is gorgeous!

  10. Am I Blue...

One can only hope you continue to experience the blues....and share them with us.

  12. Your paintings are so exquisitely blue, they lifted me up the very moment my eyes set sight of them, blueeetiful! :-)

That little blue milk jug, didn't you give it a new home?

  13. This is my first visit to your blog and I am loving all the wonderful photos and artwork. It is a feast for the eyes.
SO much eye candy in one blog. You are a very talented girl! Since I am a lover of all things blue and white I had to leave a comment here and I am adding you to my favorites!
    Thanks for a lovely time.
    Hugs, Rhondi
