It has been a pretty quiet week in July 

With very moderate temperatures compared to Southern Europe 🙏 Today Rain ☔️ is expected.

Les Pavés de Paris

One of our thumbnail class assignments (No.3) was go outside, randomly look and then draw✏️ whatever we see

I painted the pavé/ cobblestones in my street.

French Independence Day, Radishes

 

This morning at 7:32 I thought I heard the French Guarde Republicaine band playing & ran 🏃‍♂️ outside to catch them

But found just a lone runner…

July is Cat Tea Salon Month

 

Cat  month is not until September according to the CATalyst Council. For me it falls in July. It did last year too.

With all the cup class ☕️ painting lately, I told Bonnie I was going to do a pretty cup letter of Paris. She said  GREAT 👍

Breakfast in America 20th Anniversary July 4th Soirée

 

Last night Breakfast in America celebrated the 4th of July with a 20th anniversary soirée in the Marais on 4, rue Malher

Yesterday I went out to buy stamps & got on the wrong bus just for fun (bus 29 if you want to follow in my footsteps).

I ended up near rue Montorgueil 75001 (the main post office is close but closed by 12:30 Saturdays 🙁)

On weekends, just like every tourist who crosses my bridge, Pont de Sully, 

I stop & take pictures of Parisians relaxing along the Seine. It’s addictive, especially in Summer

 Yesterday the temp hit 92 in Paris

After the pool 🏊 & the marché 🍒 I came home completely wiped🥵
