Caption “I’ve always want to go up in the Eiffel Tower”
Can you believe with all the drawings✏️✏️ I’ve done, I’ve only gazed from afar, standing on the ground looking up?! Yes its Nuts 🌰
I took Metro 6. I was so excited trying to catch a shot out the window I missed the stop, Bir-Hakim!
This is the second vintage of Merlot, La Bouche de Roi vinyard is celebrating at the Tour Eiffel. What a brill idea👏👏
I have to say Bear 🐻 and I were thrilled to bits to be finally up in the Tour Eiffel tasting delicious merlot🍷🤸🏾♀️ We could make a habit of this…maybe once a week?
For better painting research bien sur…
This morning Bear 🐻 is traveling to Annecy. More adventures to come 👍 bisou bisou 💋💋💋
So…your event yesterday was televised…the big guns with cameras were there. 👍🏻 Or on the 1st level?
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your post…’inquiring minds want to know’, all the details…living vicariously…
Wine at le Tour Eiffel once a week sounds like a great plan 😉🍷
ReplyDeleteSo glad bear got to go! I love that metro stop. 🗼🐻🍷
ReplyDeleteCarol! Wine at 10am? Even in Paris, that’s a bit outré, no? Looks like Bear needs a visit to the spa.
ReplyDeleteWhat a unique experience…wine tasting at 187’…worth waiting for for your inaugural ascent! And Fiona & Dom were there! ❤️ Love your adventures with Bear! Happy travels to Annecy. Bon voyage!
ReplyDeleteCarol, your WATERCOLOR is one of your best!! You captured the morning! Merci.

ReplyDeleteThe top is the best..or from afar..the main grounds ..not so much for us..we were so surprised at the commercialization of it.
365 Dresses: if you are in the wine biz you’re tasting/sniffing/ gargling all day and night, 24/7.
ReplyDeletePastry chefs dont wait till 4:30pm gouté time.
Plus nabbing a time slot when ET is not wildly busy has to be a factor.
Most wine fairs and events begin when they begin. We only got a slug…not much. Though there were no spittoons like at big wine tastings,
That really surprised me that you hadn't been, Carol. Exciting! I just assumed that visiting ET would be about the FIRST thing on any visitors list. And you live there!
ReplyDeleteI have visited many, many times Judy
ReplyDeleteI had not gone UP…so-called fear of heights etc.
Wonderful post, Carol!
ReplyDeleteNot surprising you had never gone up ET…they say very few locals do.
You saved your first time for an absolutely fab experience.
It was uniquely special experience indeed!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had stayed behind and explored more and seen the gift shops etc…
I’m so happy you’re having these excellent adventures! Good for you and Bear.
ReplyDeletePeeBee~
ReplyDeleteWhen you get to the very top,
you can feel it move. I'll never
forget that feeling.
TMI! Information like that I can do without ;((
ReplyDeleteAt last! and look at the great painting you did out of it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific ET event. Lucky you. You probably already know this, but the #72 bus is a delightful way to get to La Tour. It's just as fast as the Metro once you finish the rue de Rivoli and a great sightseeing ride to boot. Sorry, you missed your stop, that must have been a "hike" as the walk from Bir Hakim is substantial. XXOOVV
ReplyDeleteThanks Vickie,
ReplyDeleteI wrote about taking the 72 a while back…
The walk was 5 minutes to the emplyees entrance 😊
Next time I will take the 72
