At the end of my street, rue Vavin, is the Jardins du Luxembourg in the 6th."TAILLE HUMAINE" of artworks integrated into the park was on-more here. A mystery nose emerging from the Fontaine Médicis by Jacques Brosser.I've no idea who these legs belong to... No matter how idealic and perfect the gardens are...You always hear the patter of jogger's feet on the gravel.Still the artists keep drawing. For all events and exhibits going on in the gardens.
Ah, I stayed on Rue de Seine, right across from Mulot's, the gardens were at the end of or street too although the street name changes to Rue de Tournon. It is a great area.

Describe what you love about France in 3 words. Can we make it 5 words? Eyes, ears, nose, tastebuds + brain. Paris stimulates all my senses constantly. I’m inspired all the time – endlessly surprised and amused. New York doesn’t do it for me anymore…
the next best thing to being in Paris is checking this site out. It's always such a delight. thanks for keeping up such a fantastic site.

ReplyDeleteLucky you Shelagh! My pool was just down the street from Mulot's -- irresistable! Rue de Seine is a wonderful street too.
