Grandes Serres Tropical ๐ŸŒด Jardin des Plantes

Stepping into a wild jungle ๐ŸŒด

When the rest of the world ๐Ÿ—บ️
Seems to be going to hell

In a hand basket ๐Ÿงบ

Is not a bad idea ๐Ÿ‘

Last week I was
invited to a

Palm Tree ๐ŸŒด exposition

At Grandes Serres - Jardin des Plantes

Have you ever been?

Probably never appeared

On your Paris ๐Ÿฅ to-do list.

By the way the toucan is the guide to all the fun facts on Palm Trees ๐ŸŒด They eat the fruit of palm trees.

I got carried away with drawing the toucans…

I get invited to these previews because

I draw ✍️ onsite = resident artiste ๐Ÿง‘‍๐ŸŽจ

I discovered I ❤️ Palm Trees ๐ŸŒด

Did you know Palms are not a tree? ๐ŸŒณ

But related to lilies and grasses!

Palm trees grow mostly in tropical areas and deserts, but I saw some this morning in Paris!

They are called Palms because their fronds resemble hands ๐Ÿ™Œ
The funny thing is

Since last week

I keep bumping into Toucans!
Karmic destiny?

The other funny thing is w
ith my collection of maybe 1,001 brushes,
I am mostly painting

With chopsticks ๐Ÿฅข Life is full of surprises.
If you want to know what’s going on in Paris watch this video.

      Wonderful to hear this ☺️
I worry that visitors miss out on this rich combination of gardens, menagerie and museums.

I've been to Munich's greenhouses, which includes a palm tree house, but not this one in Paris. Putting it on my to-do list now :-).
