Place des Vosges

Tuesday was a gorgeous day in Paris. I didn’t get out of the house until 6:23 pm for a late dash to the Poste.

If I didn’t run to la Poste most days to mail your letters 💌 I stay inside all day drawing ✏️ like most artists.

Sending letters from Paris
 is a very good thing😊
On a whim I went into Place des VosgesGetting outside and inhaling l’aire frai (fresh air) will always fix you,
Especially if its Paris l’aire frais.
A very good idea on a beautiful day.
Menus reading is a fun pastime, imagining what you could order. Do you do it too?
I stopped at a cafe to talk to a giant Black Russian Terrier. He just arrived in Paris for a 2 month stay and no jet lag.

I ❤️ Love empty cafe tables.
I wish I had the patience to linger. This is at Ma Bourgogne.
Black with red combo is always so chic…
This business (?) man’s dog’s paws were properly on the table. French table manners demand hands on table.
One of the many kicks I get out of living in Paris is shooting abandoned cafe tables. Each has a story to tell. Who was there? What was the conversation? I always plan to paint them later.
I’m nuts for Cafés Richard’cups and saucers. Some are colored blue and yellow—the Ukraine’s colors.
I had to paint them.Thank you for reading Parisbreakfast. Please pass on to someone you think might enjoy it. If you like this post you can support it by buying my letters and watercolors from Paris. ☕️ ☕️☕️☕️☕️ Bon Weekend PBers

  4. Love that sweet dog! And Place des Vosges, too. You're right -- the cafes are wonderful subjects -- with or without the people!

  5. That first picture is a real gem! The colors and flat perspective
remind me of Michel Delacroix. I'm so happy for you, living the
    dream.
