Brocantes et meanderings

Yesterday I painted an imaginary sailboat ⛵️

Today at the Sunday
BROCANTE I found it!
Was it Karmic Destiny?

Maybe?

I was looking at a EUGÉNE BOUDIN book 📕

Boudin taught Claude Monet to paint 🎨

At Trouville-sur-mer among other places.

TROUVILLE is Lobster 🦞 Land.

At the brocante I found I found a lobster 🦞

Was it a sign? Should I go to Trouville? YES.

Then a red summer hat 👒

Red breakfast bowls on a red-checked tablecloth.

It makes you think of Bonnard…

So many

RED

Things today.

This post is meandering like my brain 🧠 this week, post-heatwave = big mush.

This week I was trying to paint figures

Like Monet did for his PONT NEUF painting in Dallas.

This week I got

The MONET PARIS LETTER

Out

After many trials & errors.
Hooray!
Tomorrow I will be at Musée Guimet (Thank Suki)
for their excellent AC and the last day of the K-Beauty exhibition.
KEEP COOL DEAR PBers  🥶

  1. What fun! How I love the Bonnard--no edges--everything is so dreamy.
