Desperately Seeking MYKA Greek 🇬🇷 Frozen Yogurt 🍦

Yesterday, I found my Mecca, my holy grail…

Greek Yogurt ice cream 🍦

In the morning I got an alert 🔔 from dear
SOLLI, who is in the hills of Tuscany teaching a photography 📸 class.

Never mind. We both have Greek Yogurt ice cream 🍦 on the brain 🧠

Naturalement, I ran 🏃‍♀️ out of the house straight to the Marais.

The streets were full of muguet bouquets 💐

You give muguet to a friend on premiere de Mai for good luck 🍀

This couple were clutching Chihuahuas 🐶 🐶 instead.

At last I found rue de Sévigné.

A happy woman eating her Greek yogurt in the street 😀

TA DA! at #28 rue de Sévigné!

MYKA GREEK frozen yogurt
🍦

MYKA’s owner Natalia was onhand (on the left). This was day 2.

The main product is Kefir goat 🐐 yogurt from France 🇫🇷

More than 20 unusual topping are available.

On the right - crunchy fillo pastry. Many of them are ‘crumbles’

The MENU Please 🙏

The decor is stunning

Everything is Greek cobalt blue and white. Even the paper cups.

Here is MYKA’s back story. Natalia, who is Mexican, was living in Greece with her husband for 18 years, when he lost his job. They put their heads together and decided to create a unique Greek frozen yogurt company, starting in Madrid. Now they are in Paris, New York, Dubai, soon
California and Miami and the world 🌍

Kiwi 🥝
asked, “ How is the taste different from the frozen yogurt so popular a few years ago?”
It is tart and tangy like Greek yogurt.
Sugar is a bottom note 🎵 Not a top note.

Living in France 🇫🇷 it’s easy to find goat 🐐 & sheep 🐑 Greek yogurt at the supermarché.I’m addicted. It’s the Greek aspect that is popular.

Traditionally in Greece
it’s made from sheep’s milk 🐑
I LOVE ❤️ the taste. And I loved MYKA’s 🍦

After I left

I kept seeing 👁️

Greek

Cobalt Blue

Everywhere.
🍓 Except for all the fraise 🍓

  2. The shop looks really cute. How is the taste different from the frozen yogurt that was so trendy 20 years ago in the U.S.?

      Good question 🥝
It’s the extra tanginess and tartness of GREEK Yogurt.

Here it is 8AM and I am dying for a bowl of Greek yogurt dessert you are showing!. And the interior is beautiful. I am sure this is a success and wish one of these shops were in my area here in SoCal.

Lucky you! A new yummy shop to discover! I love Greek yoghurt; thicker, more protein, and it makes a great substitute for sour cream in any baking recipe. Those toppings are a novel idea. Good for you for getting the blueberries, so healthy. Enjoy!

Did you get to the Musee Carnavalet while you were on that street? It’s free except for temporary exhibitions. On now is an exhibition about the woman who gave her name to the street - Mme de Sevigne
