for a new sim card. Then I walked over to Concorde for a browse. Its still feels like taking a trip without packing.
I popped into Angelina. They usually have good 💌 paper envelope stuffers. But Paris is paper-free these days. Can you catch Covid from a business or perfume card? :(
I didn’t resist Mado de Paris. New to 252, rue de Rivoli since January. I stopped in for an iced citronade, lemon ice cream and a lemon zest madeleine. Toute Lemon 🍋
A classic French couple flirting in a cafe. What’s not to love about Concorde? Reliably beautiful in any light. I’m off to see the Sarah Moon exhibit at MAM. Then swim 🏊♀️ Then see Le Salon International du Livre Rare at Grand Palais. Then work ✏️ on the September Paris letter.
Pray🙏 for the West Coast ❤️ 🐻
I want what you are having. I enjoy the hustle of the Concord.
ReplyDeleteI don’t go uptown often enough,
DeleteBut Place de la Concorde never disappoints
The weather still looks lovely in Paris. Your photos of Parisians out and about, going about their lives, are fascinating. Yes! to lemon everything and those lemon yellow tea tins. You lift my spirts with your excursions. Enjoy! ❤️
ReplyDeleteThank you Bonelle
DeleteThat’s my job = spirit-lifter !

West Coast..now the floodings in Georgia..numbers rising....Did you see Pauline is in hospital? As in Geoffreywalks IG?
I can now throw away macaron boxes after years of separation therapy. Yay
DeleteYes its been Hot every day. No cloud coverage ;((
Oh dear re: Pauline :((
That big coat checked pattern is a houndstooth pattern :-)
ReplyDeleteMais oui, but of course
DeleteIn French it is ‘pied de poule’ ...chicken feet
Sigh. This time last year we were in Paris for my birthday (tomorrow), seeing and taking in the same multi-layer dreamy experiences. This year??? Not so much.
ReplyDeleteThat’s why there is a ParisBreakfast !!!
DeleteMy job description..
What would we ever do without your glimpses of Paris? Such perfection - Concorde, cafes, fashion & I adore Mado. Mille mercis, Carol. (and Bear)
ReplyDeleteAwww...Thanks Suki
DeleteIts fun for me to share Paris ;))
Do you want to see more on Mado?
Oui o non??
Thank you so much for this little trip to Paris. So needed right now.
ReplyDeleteActually It gets me out of the house more...these little jaunts
DeleteOtherwise I’d go no where. I’m a Taurus homebody ;))
Please make suggestions of places I should go?
Besides Berthillon..
It looks divine, every bit. Here up north it's a brisk 50 in the day and in the 30s at night. I want that sun, that outdoor cafe, those glorious madeleines! Oh, I miss it so! Thanks for taking me there. Glorious!
ReplyDeleteI love your fashion window reflection pics Carol! Tres arty 😉 👌
ReplyDeleteParis windows are renown. I used to go one night a week with MesVITRINESNYC..but she has moved on.
