Paris Dads

Quite a few of you said you'd like to see more Paris Moms svp.Surprise - I found Paris streets full of Paris dads! My French friend, M. assured me these are not all divorced daddies out walking their kiddiewinks. Paris dads start taking their offspring to la musee early. Dads were spotted waiting online at the Basquiat expos.
M. say Paris moms are highly skilled at getting dad to pitch in, while they go shopping/faire la course.
A dad on rue de Rivoli.
Both Paris and London have designated area for baby poussettes on the bus, so please move aside when you see one boarding.
These two bebes were having a tete a tete at the Salon du Chocolat. French kids do not miss out on much.
Here a Paris dad has a 'doudou' tucked under his arm for safe keeping.
A future Paris dad-to-be gets training in poussette walking.
This Paris dad prefers to carry his adorable bebe.
Bonjour Paris Dads!

Bonjour Paris !

BONJOUR PBers! We made it (BEAR and I) and this was the first poster we saw in the Metro.
I really wanted to go to this but.... French Girl went off and left us to our own devices... She left the internet code (25 numbers and letters!) in Euro scrawl - nearly impossible to deceifer without consulting the UN.
Enfin we figured it out!
Evidently there are TWO ways of writing a 1 in France and they look a lot like an upside down M (if two 1s are together as they are twice in FG's code :( or an L or I or a 1.
%$#@! There has been an unexpected bout of Jetlag...
But now we're back on track - up today at 4ish am :)
I wanted to do different things this trip so I've been going to museums that aren't really supermarches!
REAL museums.
Old habits die hard.
My first lunch was at Fauchon - same old, same old...
The first 2 days in Paris I've been test-tasting eclairs chocolat - more to come on the results...
I will never give up...
Gazing at Paris pastries. Jamais!
Nor Eiffel...
Towers.
Nor towers of macarons!
More flowers as you requested...
Paris, as usual is bow crazy...
What THEY are wearing is a touch of the cat - anything animal.
I'm keeping an eye out for Paris Mommies and OFGs and everything that comes along.
BONJOUR PBers!

The Paris Walk

Drawing by Rick Tulka Drawing by Rick Tulka

I mentioned Rick Tulka's Walking Man previously...I've been seeing "walking Parisiens"... Everywhere I go...Even Paris moms do it. *Please note it's a straight-legged gait...
Could this be the clue to Why French Women Don't Get Fat?
And not because they eat leek soup 6X a week..?OK, toes together, get ready... And stride PB readers!
(I hung out the loo window at Angelina's on rue de Rivoli to get this shot for you.)
*Note even while leche-vitrine in pastry shop windows, Parisiens do the stride stance... Men do it while snacking in the street...And while standing still.
Isn't there a marked resemblance to this Paris monument?
