Yellow Paris

Lots of YELLOW this week

In Paris

Pale yellow jacket…whatever. I thought she was cute.

So many

New

Yellow

Flowers 💐

And plenty of sun 🌞 along the Seine 🎵

I discovered a cute new/old shop on 23, rue Saint Paul

With yellow checked plates + daffs (see above) in the window.

By the way Monoprix has a matching T-shirt.

L’Ardeche À Paris
, an Épicerie, has been open just 4 months but looks like forever.

Another cute and très delish traiteur on the Île…

L’Isola Pucceria,24, rue St. Louis-en-l’île, 7504

They are from Puglia, in the boot of Southern Italy 🇮🇹

Their focaccia & special Pucci sandwiches 🥪 are to die for.

Mine from yesterday - sun-dried tomatoes 🍅 aubergine 🍆 marinated green beans, red peppers. They make the pucci bread and everything else. Yum Yum 😋

More yellow food, up the street at the AUX PETIT CAKES (Thank You 🙏 Peggy), gougères (1€).
Get them warmed up.

Le vrai chose in Dijon, Burgundy look much more puffy…🤔

Across the street, Berthillon 🍦 is closed for the holidays, but a yellow truck was parked there anyway.

My next door neighbor (Hi 👋 Mary) has a yellow-topped poubelle 🗑️

Desperately seeking

Yellow

Spring.

Thank you -- an overcast, gray day in the Washington DC area today -- but your post gives me hope -- daffodils in our front yard are poking their yellow heads up so Spring must be coming!! Looking forward to our Spring flowers, birds, etc.

That's a great idea. Cushion covers also. Or just sell the panels on fabric to be made up various ways - useful as well as decorative

Yellow is such a happy color - always makes me smile. L'Ardece a Paris is in our hood (we stay on rue St Paul) so thanks for alerting me. Scarves of your maps is a fantastic idea.

  12. Lovely yellow flowers! I also like yellow, have a good yellow raincoat for winter, but fortunately we’re still enjoying summer here in Australia.
That sandwich looks and sounds amazing. Who would buy a cake for one euro!!
