Salon de l’Agriculture #2

I
went back to Salon de l’Agriculture on Friday

The lemons 🍋 🍋🍋
Made me wish…

I had gone to MENTON  for the annual lemon 🍋 Festival. It ended yesterday 😭 Next year! 👍

Still….

There was

Plenty

To (melons anyone?)

Distract (Prosciutto di Parma?)

Me (MAYOTTE)

From (can you smell the vanille?)

Citrus 🍋 sadness like Fior di Pistacchio

And the obligatory hand-cranked

SORBET COCONUT
🥥 like at every Agriculture Salon. There is nothing like 👍 it!

Sadly, the chickens 🐓 were MIA due to health issues…

The same goes for the missing cows 🐄

We made do with pictures only, not the real thing.

Sheep 🐑 🐑 🐑 on the other hand…

Were present in droves.

Take one 🐑 home 🏡 Why not?

Sheep/Brebis cheese

Was in great abondance 🧀

All you could eat 😋 I admit I did 🤭

Make-it-yourself leçons too.

The beloved ❤️ milk bucket 🪣 decor was everywhere,

I almost forgot to show you the abondance of glorious butter/beurre! How could I!?

Always look for these Médaille/Best In Show awards 👍

Dressed appropriately in stripes & polkadots.

And the obligatory little girl in a pink coat 🧥
❤️

Yay! So glad you went back to the Salon. I think I’d be there every day if I lived there. Just for the food, forget the animals! Thanks for sharing your day with us!

The animals 🐑🐄 🐐 make the food…or plenty of it 😀 like BUTTER 🧈

As often as I can, I start the day with your photos from Paris. I admire the way you have made a life for yourself there and have so enjoyed watching you blossom as a very skilled (and humorous!) watercolorist. Anne

Thank you for going back and taking us with you. Methinks Bear might like a sheep playfriend. It all looks so good but everything (almost) is better with butter.
