Lots of YELLOW this week
In Paris
And plenty of sun 🌞 along the Seine 🎵
L’Isola Pucceria,24, rue St. Louis-en-l’île, 7504
They are from Puglia, in the boot of Southern Italy 🇮🇹 Mine from yesterday - sun-dried tomatoes 🍅 aubergine 🍆 marinated green beans, red peppers. They make the pucci bread and everything else. Yum Yum 😋
More yellow food, up the street at the AUX PETIT CAKES (Thank You 🙏 Peggy), gougères (1€).
Get them warmed up.
Le vrai chose in Dijon, Burgundy look much more puffy…🤔
Across the street, Berthillon 🍦 is closed for the holidays, but a yellow truck was parked there anyway.
❤️

DeleteHi, Carol! Always love to see the apartment. Back in April!
DeleteDelightful post Carol. Yellow is so bright and cheery and I too am so looking forward to spring! You also made me hungry as that pizza and those sandwiches look amazing. -Suzanne P.
ReplyDeleteNeed yellow in my life.
ReplyDeleteI almost bought a yellow T-shirt at Monop…but went for the leopard instead. Maybe I will go back 🌞
DeleteThank you -- an overcast, gray day in the Washington DC area today -- but your post gives me hope -- daffodils in our front yard are poking their yellow heads up so Spring must be coming!! Looking forward to our Spring flowers, birds, etc.
ReplyDeleteYes, daffs are the first sign, along with forsythia
DeleteI just had the notion that you ought to PRINT your Paris maps on fabric and sell SCARVES of your prints!!!! Xoxoxoxoxoxo
ReplyDeleteThat is a GREAT idea.
DeleteAn excellent idea!
DeleteThat's a great idea. Cushion covers also. Or just sell the panels on fabric to be made up various ways - useful as well as decorative
DeleteOoh, wonderful idea!
ReplyDeleteHi Carol…I love reading your blog. Today’s post…all things yellow was delightful.
ReplyDeleteThe the boulangerie you referenced? I think the name is Aux petits cakes, no? Peggy

ReplyDeleteYellow is such a happy color - always makes me smile. L'Ardece a Paris is in our hood (we stay on rue St Paul) so thanks for alerting me. Scarves of your maps is a fantastic idea.
ReplyDeleteRue Saint Paul is a street full of treasures 👍 though I really miss AUX PETIT BONHEUR DE LA CHANCE 💔

Love yellow, ma couleur préférée! 💛 It speaks to me of spring, joyful, happy, a mood brightener! Looks like spring has arrived in Paris…lucky you.
ReplyDeleteLa vraie chose. Please use correct French.
DeleteLovely yellow flowers! I also like yellow, have a good yellow raincoat for winter, but fortunately we’re still enjoying summer here in Australia.
ReplyDeleteThat sandwich looks and sounds amazing. Who would buy a cake for one euro!!
Happy spring :)
Sorry, should be - who wouldn’t buy a cake for one euro! I would!
