| MAISON DE CHOCOLAT |
Yesterday I took bus 63 to Sévres-Babylon, looking for some Saturday eye 👁️ candy 🍭
Yesterday was simply overcast - Paris grey skies.
First stop - Chocolatier PATRICK ROGER.
Next MAISON DU CHOCOLAT…just looking
I past Hotel Lutetia…
What Hermès did last year 🎄
Comparative analysis is part of my job 🔍
Which do you prefer?
Meanwhile at BON MARCHÉ, l’artiste of the month is SOOG DONG.
He hung massive bottle drying sculptures from the ceiling, known as égouttoir à bouteilles Herrison.
Oh la di da…
Desperately thirsty 🤪 by this is time, I was hoping MEERT would still be across the street,
For a cup ☕️ of hot chocolate like last week.
From GROOT. 😕
You can cross from Bon Marché to GRANDE EPICERIE via their ART DÉCO passage way on the 3rd floor.
At last! Free samples of delicious non-alcoholic Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from ALAIN MILLIAT.
🍷
Finally, heading out, I spotted 2 RED RIDDING HOODS…
Look 👁️ a lady trying to read the tea labels on the bottom shelf.

Good you got to go out now the storm has passed.
ReplyDeleteI think I like this years Christmas decorations as they are more colourful.
Only inhaling chocolate would be hard! No eating!
I agrée Kirra.
DeleteBlack is too sophisticated,.
Inhaling chocolate takes practice ☝️
You take us to the best places….thanks!
ReplyDeleteI’m sure you go to the same places Dee Ann…
DeleteBut looking for gifts 🎁 not stories 😉
Love all the candy and designs.
ReplyDeleteLove the Christmas looks in the stores too.
This was nice girl friend.
Lynne
Thank you Lynne ❤️
DeleteIt’s like a treasure hunt when I go out looking for goodies…
Talk about eye candy…your entire post…every photo is eye candy! Chocolate, pastries, perfumes, purses, pretty outfits! Sigh! Love the ‘Bistro’ bag. The bottle drying racks are aptly names herissons/hedgehogs. Don’t know how decorative they are though! Thank you, Carol for brightening up our dreary winter days! ❤️
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU Bonnie 👏
DeleteThe Bistro bag had no price tag 🏷️ but probably gone by now after being here.
I LOVE ❤️ anything red checked…
Patrick Roget is my absolute favorite but I could never get by with just inhaling.
ReplyDeleteExcellent taste Suki 👌
DeleteIt looks like Bin Marche.
ReplyDeleteI like your name better than Bon Marché (which means good bargains!) HA
DeleteRed&Green for Christmas beats out Black&White for me all the time! Nowdays (closer to 80 than 70) trying to read the labels on the lowest shelves is impossible unless I get down on my hands & knees (which I don't do out in public!). Thanks for catching the Red R Hoods! They will catch one's eye - won't they! Thanks for taking us gift shopping with you for the after Christmas Soldes!!! Mary in Oregon
ReplyDeleteVery observant Mary 👁️
DeleteThat was a fine, fine walk we all went on with you. You are our guide who does all the work as we sit by the fire in our cushy chairs enjoying every delicious moment.
ReplyDelete🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️ Hahahahaha
DeleteLove all the goodies! That bridge! The red and green and critters of Christmas! Black…not so much. Love the guy carrying the packages!
ReplyDeleteLove my Paris Letters! Happy, Healthy New Year to you and yours, xox Virginia
Thank you VIRGINIA ❤️
DeleteI love you for saying so 👏
I prefer the butterflies and penguins, hands down!
ReplyDeleteNo Penguins 🐧 Those are snow ⛄️ men…
