Ducks 🦆 in a row
Beautiful Mallard ducks
Yesterday at the Custodia exhibit of Dutch drawings
Another Dutch beauty - Perfect for Mother’s Day. I nearly forgot (in France it arrives June 4!).
On Thursday I had a coffee (café au lait ☕️) with S. at Berthillon. It was too early for ice cream (really?).
I got to thinking 🤔
I know some PBers don’t need Paris letters 💌 or a watercolor.
Perhaps you would like to buy me a Ko-Fi ☕️ (or a café au lait or an espresso)?
*Any kind of coffee ☕️ will be much appreciated😊🙏❤️
🌸 Have a lovely day PBers & Bonne Jour de Mere 🌸
I’m so glad you are getting great people weather rather than duckie weather. It’s fabulous how Parisians stream out to their cafés when the weather improves!
ReplyDelete‘Buy me a coffee’ is a terrific idea, Carol. R & I wish we were there to have a coffee with you in person. This is the next best thing. 😘
Thanks Bonnie,
DeleteI wish you were too ☕️☕️☕️
THANK YOU DEAR PBers❤️
DeleteSo kind!!
*MY IPAD DIED THIS MORNING SO I AM LATE RESPONDING & OUT OF TOUCH WITH EVERYTHING 😳 till the replacement arrives in 1-2 days 👍 Stay Tuned Back in action SOON XXX ❤️💋😊 Carolg
“Youve been serving up delight with my morning tea for years now. The least I can do is buy you a coffee ...and something wonderful to go with it.” M

The exhibits at Fondation Custodia are among my favorites as I adore works on paper. The whole exhibit experience there is a pleasure.
ReplyDeleteA lovely quiet place in Paris - unique !
DeleteI would love to buy you coffees! You are absolutely right - I don't really need a watercolour but would definitely like to support you in this way as I love receiving your newsletter/blog.
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to buy you a coffee. The payment won't go thru.
ReplyDeleteI will try to find out more…I am brand new at this. Maybe by tomorrow 🙏
DeleteThanks for your patience ❤️
Why do we say "raining cats and dogs" when it's actually duck weather and should be raining ducks?
ReplyDeleteI will do some research Suki I agree 👍
DeleteThe English-language idiom "raining cats and dogs" or "raining dogs and cats" is used to describe particularly heavy rain. It is of unknown etymology and is not necessarily related to the raining animals phenomenon. The phrase has been used at least since the 17th century. Wikipedia
Delete????😳

Deletemay I suggest Terres de Cafe at 14 Rue Rambuteau? Tiny with a glimpse of a little courtyard through the back door. Coffee fabulous and service friendly! A few little yellow tables in front. Pur favorite. You may already know the place. Enjoy your coffee anywhere! C.
