Love this. Mentioning Frogonard reminded me of the time we visited the parfumerie in the south and leaving with many different forms of their perfumes as gifts.

ReplyDeleteLoved this post as I'm always ready for summer. I've been to Beziers twice and found it enchanting and full of history. The first time we arrived on flower market day and I had never seen anything like it. Our hotel room overlooked the main street with more flowers than I had ever seen in my life.

ReplyDeleteHmmm….the French are mad for tanning imo. On a chilly, sunny day in March a woman was out sunning in a bikini! Everyone else was bundled up.
