400th anniversary of Jardin des Plantes 🌷

On Saturday I took  bus 63 

To the entrance at Jardin des Plantes. 

I was supposed to show up at 9:15 Tuesday morning….

Same day I had Salon du Dessin and lunch with Julia…

But I missed the boat 🛶 

Impossible to do 

All the things 

There are to do in Paris.

And JARDIN DES PLANTES 🌱 

Is definitely a Must-Do,

Especially when Spring arrives.

This year’s installation of 23,000 bulbs and 25,000 biennials is in collaboration 

With the museum’s collection of botanical illustrations. Many are displayed among the flowers 🌷 

Every year the tulips show up…

And every year I completely forget how to draw ✍️ them

Not a piece of cake 🍰 

I have yet to go seriously hunting 🔍 this season’s Easter 🐣 Eggs 🥚 Next up on the Must-Do ✅ Agenda!
