(There is a difference between thinking and doing.... !)
ReplyDeleteI believe you are doing the total of all that you like of Paris here! However nice it is, I believe you must force yourselve to some less chic quartiers next time, just to let us see how you treat them in words and paintings!
Love all the paintings, but 28 Boulangerie 28 is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteShould you ever get tired of Paris,
you'll always have Vienne! :-)
Have a great week!
Oh, those ubiquitous Vanessa Bruno totes! Even I was enticed (out of character) to buy one of those when I lived in Paris. Sold it on Ebay after I moved back to the US though. Along with my Longchamp collection. :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous work and post. I love what your doing now. John Singer Sargents painting here is one of my Favorites.
ReplyDeleteI have signed up to take a water color class at the local college. I have always been able to sketch, but have never painted. I noted your paintbox and wondered if you could tell me the maker. The instructor gave out a list of colors and paper, but your set looks very much more convenient to use than a bunch of tubes.
ReplyDeleteI leave on Friday!!!
ReplyDeleteIn Paris for a week then Cannes!!! then one more day in Paris!!!
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI so wish I could taste those bonbons for real!
I'm proud to be the "star" today! Painting people in Paris is a fabulous idea!!! BRAVO. When you are in paris, I'll try to paint PB star... I'm bad at drawing!

This is such a fabulous idea! I love it! I will actually be traveling to Paris with my family this July for about a week...will you be in town then? Would love to meet you in person... if not, I will seriously consider ordering a portrait as a little souvenir.
ReplyDeleteSUCCESS!
ReplyDeleteBoth for you and for me! I love my Paris portrait painting.
And my macarons turned out parfait!
They have pied!
However, I only got 19 out of the batch and I'm afraid they might not travel well to NY - so you and bear will have to forgive me; however, I will think of you as I eat them and go miam, miam
I love our portrai!
ReplyDeleteThanks again for doing beautiful art and also for your blog, I love getting it each day.
Take care,
Kathy
